Join CEEK and enjoy the new Time with CEO (31 January 2022) to find out what awaits Asante Kotoko in the near future and in 2022 in general. As always, the CEO of Asante Kotoko Nana Yaw Amponsah will keep you up to date, because who knows what is happening inside the team better than him.
Why are so many people interested in Asante Kotoko you ask? This is not surprising, because this team has become one of the main sensations of African football of the last century. By that time little-known Kumasi team quickly became dominant on the national football scene and in the 1960s became known throughout the country as Ghana's most promising team. Every year they reaffirmed these hopes with action, and in 1970 they were able to show themselves at the highest level at the African Cup of Champions Clubs, which is undoubtedly one of the best international African football tournaments. After this victory, no one on the continent doubted the strength of the team from Kumasi. Over the next few years, Asante Kotoko continued to actively conquer various championships, and in 1983 even managed to win the African Cup of Champions Clubs for the second time.
Today, Asante Kotoko retains the same unwavering fighting spirit and is not going to give up. Each new match with their participation becomes an event awaited by tens of thousands of fans around the world.
There is no doubt that this trend will continue, so we will look forward to them.
